  1. How we help

Youth Groups

Youth Groups

Dundee Youth Groups

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6-8pm in Manhattan Works, Dundonald Street, Dundee. The groups are split by ages 14-18years, 11-13years, and 5-10years. Each session costs £6 and the annual admin fee is £10. In these groups the children and young people have access to computers, I pads, and a PS4, there is also a chill out area downstairs for them to sit with friends and chat. Unfortunately our centre is in an old mill and there is no disabled access to the top floor. Upstairs we have a pool table and kitchen, sports hall and an art room, currently art sessions are facilitated by artists from Scrapantics. In the sessions our youth group staff will facilitate the activities led by the children and young people. We also access the local park, Baxters weather permitting.

We occasionally have some visitors to the youth groups that have included Maryfield Community Police Team ( breaking down barriers and both the police and the children learning about each other), Scarlett Erskine Jewellery, BetterGen (boxing and exercising), and in the past we have had photography and cooking sessions as well.

Angus Youth Group

In our Angus group which runs on a Tuesday night at The Hub in Friockheim, 6-8pm we deliver a similar session. Charges for this group are the same as Dundee. The group is run from the sports hall in the Hub and the children and young people access sports, art and I pads and a Ps4 to use during sessions. This group began in January this year.

Once our children and you people are settled into the group we also offer activity weeks during the school holidays for a additional cost.
