Family Information and Social Skills Course The ADHD support group is currently running a project to deliver social skills classes to 50 children over the next year, whilst also providing further support to parents and carers and bringing families together. Below is the poster we are sharing with CAMH's, schools, and other charities and a little information about the Specialist Educator's that will be working with the children. You can also see the way our hall will be set up for the social skills course, and some feedback from the children and families we have supported. If you are interested in this class, or know anyone that might be, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Information Officer Louise Scott. There will be courses ran in Dundee and Angus. Feedback from previous groups 'I feel more confident and liked that Mum and Dad were involved'. 'The group has enabled us as parents to understand our child better, and it has given her more confidence to come to youth group as she has made friends'. 'I think it has been a really good experience for us all'. 'I liked talking about feelings'. 'I liked learning about online safety'. 'Learning stop signs in conversations'. Parents and Carers have enjoyed learning more about ADHD, patience and structure. The main feedback from all children and young people that we have supported is they have enjoyed making friends!! dundee-and-angus-adhd-support-group-covid-19-self-screening-form
