IMPACT Courses

I – Information

M – Meaningful Communication

P – Practicing useful strategies

A – Achievements

C – Care and Consideration

T – Transformation

Our courses are for young people and parents/carers. They run simultaneously for 4 weeks.

Young people will learn more about their condition, how to self-manage, communicate how they are feeling and understand their emotions, as well as improving their social skills.

Parents/Carers will learn more about ADHD, what it feels like to have the condition, new approaches to support their young person and self-care strategies, as well as meeting other parents/carers.

Each week the parents/carers will be told what their young person is learning to continue to practice at home. The outcome will be a stronger family unit, better communication and improved confidence for everyone.

Take a look at some of the feedback young people have left from recent courses below!

If you would like to refer your family onto the course, please complete our Service Referral form and let us know it is the IMPACT courses you are registering for.
